2022 Class of 2025 All-American Games
Cooper Smith is a 2025 C/1B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Baton Rouge, LA who attends Live Oak. Medium frame with a strong compact build. Primary catcher, slightly higher setup and works through the ball well, replaces feet quick and gains good ground, repeats and consistent in his timing, on the bag with strong accurate throws, good catch-and-throw foundation. Left-handed hitter, narrow base and simple load, moves in well on time, clean linear approach, swings it hard and gets good length through the zone, some inconsistencies with getting to the barrel but good strength to the profile and can show big impact in flashes, good foundation of a power-hitting backstop.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
