Zachary Slayden is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Tomball. Physical, Extra-Large frame with square shoulders, a high waist and tons of strength throughout. Recorded a 7.03 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from a slightly abbreviated windup with slightly coiled leg lift and good lower half movements down the slope. Fastball worked in the mid-to-upper 80s for the duration of his outing with downhill plane and heaviness to it. Strike thrower with ability to navigate all four quadrants with his fastball, mixed in slower two-plane curveball with gradual depth to it and replicated changeup to complete his three-pitch mix. Will continue to add velocity and sharpen full repertoire with refinements mechanically and their is plenty of upside remaining. Excellent Student.
