Dominic Bonilla is a 2025 3B/C, 1B, MIF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Chicago Hope Academy. Medium frame with solid build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.51 seconds. Hits from slightly open and staggered stance, high hands and back elbow, turns the barrel well and shows smoothness to path, repeatable line drive stroke committed to the middle of the field. Primary infielder, developing feel for upper/lower half synchronization, hands work when out front, more rigid funnel, clocked up to 72 mph across the diamond. Also took reps behind the plate, low and side-saddle set, some flexibility in lower half, shows quality footwork out of crouch, smooth arm stroke, popped as low as 2.13 seconds during drills. Excellent student.
