Frank Avila is a 2024 SS/2B, MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Riviera Prep School. Recorded a 6.96 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with room to fill out and add strength. Primary shortstop who gets behind the ball nicely. Solid fundamentals and stays low to the ground. Accurate throws across with arm strength recorded up to 83 mph. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a leg lift trigger moving forward. Direct path to contact and throws the hands nicely. Even planed swing with some lift through the finish. Tremendous student.
