2021 Jr. National Showcase
Easton Storey is a 2023 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Brighton, MI who attends Brighton HS. Medium frame with a physical build and well-proportioned strength throughout. Primary left-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Longer arm stroke through the back with whip and quickness to the arm circle. High three-quarters arm slot with a well-paced delivery. Fastball sat in the 87-89 mph range with late ride at the top of the zone. Good fastball quality and missed bats at the top of the strike zone. Hammer curveball that was inconsistent but showed sharp bite and 2/8 shape. Two-plane snap and projects as a legitimate long term weapon. Changeup is a quality third pitch with similar arm speed and short action. Very strong two pitches with the third to complete the arsenal. Great student.
