Gavin Moczydlowsky is a 2023 RHP/3B with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from New Boston, MI who attends Huron. Strong athletic build. Works from a full wind up on the mound, gets coiled and into his hips well and has very good lower half drive to the plate, short and quick arm action, gets extended out front, has energy at release that he controls well. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side life, showed the ability to throw the ball to both sides of the plate with intent. Both secondary pitches were solid offerings, slider was tight with good depth and plenty of spin, change up had nice arm speed. 7.18 runner in the sixty. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance, swings hard, present swing is downhill through the ball, can make adjustments to his swing plane and take advantage of his strength. Good student. Verbal commitment to Michigan State. Named to the Great Lakes Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
