Henry Cordes is a 2024 RHP/IF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Chesterfield, MO who attends MICDS. Large, athletic frame with present strength and additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 6.96 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, starts on far side of first base rubber, employs a compact arm action through the back working to a tight release from ear; some effort at release, fastball topped out at 84 mph and worked around the zone, pitched to contact and shows heaviness to it when down in the zone. Spun a slider up to 74 mph with short downer life and maintained well on changeup upwards of 76 mph with 1655 spin rates. Shorter arm action on throws from the outfield with effort at release, nice accuracy to the plate and shows present arm strength on throws. Right-handed hitter, simple mechanics and shows ability to turn the barrel, short and direct swing path with strength at point of contact, shows ability to work to all fields. Very good student. Verbal commitment to Missouri.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
