Elijah Clayton is a 2024 SS/2B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Westlake Village, CA who attends Oaks Christian. Slender athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 6.50 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder, is very light on his feet with lots of bounce in his actions, rounds the ball well, very soft and sure hands, plays with confidence and imagination, has some arm strength that is maximized by his footwork and quick release. Right handed hitter, has a big stride into contact, loose hands, swings hard, tends to work from under the ball, flashed some impact but still developing consistency in his swing path, raw bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. Son of former long time big league shortstop Royce Clayton.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
