Henry McDonald is a 2024 C/3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from South Pasadena, CA who attends Polytechnic. Long athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Agile and quick defender behind the plate, moves well in all his lower half actions, can get off direction throwing, longer arm action, has good arm strength, will continue to improve with more strength and consistency. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread bent knee stance with a tight hand load, gets too side at times, stays short with his swing path and shows good hand quickness, mid field to opposite field approach. Very good student.
