Dominic DiBlasi is a 2023 RHP/3B/UT with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Marriottsville, MD who attends Liberty. Medium frame with a lean build. Ran a 7.14 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, simple in the operation as he lifts to the waist before dropping and driving. Athletic delivery with a clean arm stroke making him projectable. Released from a higher three-quarter slot. Pitchability present as he changes eye levels and gets swing and miss. Fastball up to 80 mph and worked all four quadrants while doing so. Also proved he could spin the breaking ball. Up to 64 mph showing vertical actions while confident to throw it in any count. Rounded the arsenal off with a sharp slider in the low-70's that he tunneled well off the fastball. Upside on the mound going forward. Secondary Third Baseman, quick first step working into it with urgency. Young actions at times but showing energy. Gathers out front before working into transfer and release. Accurate around the bag throwing it 81 mph. Secondary Outfielder, short strides as he works into the baseball. Young actions as he gathers with two hands out front at times. Longer arm stroke as he threw it 79 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, wide base with high hands behind the ear to start. Deep load before striding out. Fires the hips and generates good bat speed. Proved he could drive it gap to gap on a line. Power in the swing when he squares it up. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
