Drew Beard is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Charlotte Christian. Medium frame with a lean build. Ran a 7.34 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, some quickness to his actions, plays low to and through the ball with sntach to the hands, shows good lateral range and arm works well in generating clean throws across. Also pitched, deliberate delivery and works well down the mound, commands the bottom part of the zone with some run to the arm side on the fastball whole showing some feel for a 10-to-5 shaped breaking ball. Right-handed hitter, swings hard with good intent, works level through the zone with some ability to lift at impact, bat to ball skills are good and showed the ability to work to the middle of the field consistently.
