2023 WWBA Workout Showcase (Sat)
Jonas Aponick is a 2024 RHP/2B, SS, MIF, UT with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Sugarloaf, PA who attends Hazleton Area. Lean, athletic build with wiry strength present that translates in game. Ran a 6.91 60-yard dash. Primary RHP/2B, good mover in the dirt with crisp and coordinated footwork, worked well to both sides of the spot laterally, clean hands out front with a feel for the backhand and forehand alike, threw it 88-mph across the diamond with accuracy to the bag. Right-handed hitter, slightly open and even base, hanging leg lift trigger, high hands and back elbow set that stay high and tight during the load, works downhill to the baseball, feel for the barrel with this setup and creates extension out front nicely, solid round here with lots of solid pull-side contact and line drives. Athletic prospect with lean strength that plays on both sides of the baseball. Outstanding student. Named to the WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
