2023 South Top Prospect Games @ Texas A&M
Eli Buxton is a 2024 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-6 185 lb. frame from Sand Springs, OK who attends Charles Page. Primary right-handed pitcher with a long slender frame showing plenty of room to add to the build moving forward. Works with an abbreviated arm circle through the back to an over the top arm slot using his length to create extension down the mound while using his lower half well when he stays online. Works primarily off a two pitch mix with a fastball that tops out in the upper 80’s and can be effective up in the zone when he is landing his slider. Uses the slider in multiple counts as his best pitch with late sudden depth working well below the barrel while matching arm speed to the fastball and giving the arsenal enough deception to create uncomfortable at bats. Excellent student. Named to the 2023 South Top Prospects Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
