Philip Cheong is a 2026 SS/2B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Richmond Hill, ON who attends Bill Crothers. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Outstanding runner, 6.50 in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has nice actions, works through his backhands well, active feet, has confidence in his glove work, charges the ball well, plenty of raw arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a long and extended swing path, loose and quick hands, works the middle of the field with consistent line drive contact, pretty simple and repeatable overall swing approach to grow into. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
