Shelton Harville Jr is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Keithville, LA who attends Captain Shreve. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Primary right-handed pitcher, abbreviated windup and gets tall on backside, short stride and can continue to implement additional lower half into drive down the mound; short arm action through the back and hides it well. Repeats delivery and low effort release on fastball, topped out at 87 mph slight run and downhill plane; ball gets on hitters quickly and worked around the zone nicely. Pitched to some contact, mixed a low-70s curveball with sharp, downer actions and solid spin, shows late bite and can get chase swings with it. Slight fading life to changeup up to 79 with maintained arm speed. Moves well in the outfield on the approach and gathers behind throws, similar short arm action and shows nice present arm speed with carry and accuracy to the intended base. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a slightly narrow base; utilizes a hover leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Compact stroke with lots of present quickness to hands, shows strength in them and consistently turns over the barrel. Generates nice carry off of the barrel when squared, comfort turning on the ball to pull side and creates occasional loft at the point of contact. Very good student. Verbal commitment to Louisiana Tech. Named to Class of 2025 All-American Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
