Brody Mills is a 2023 1B/LHP with a 6-1 225 lb. frame from Yakima, WA who attends West Valley. Big framed country strong type build. Left handed hitter, upper body rotational swing, gets coiled and loaded well, has loose hands and turns the barrel well, pull side approach, best swings were in the games when he got his hands extended, has big power when squares it up. Had a solid outing on the mound pitching, slow paced delivery with a big hip turn, lands closed out front, low 3/4's arm slot with a whippy arm out front. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, velocity plays up with his deceptive delivery and angle, fastball has good running life at times. Threw a sweeping slurve type breaking ball with good feel and angle as well. Has some upside on the mound. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
