Luke Pappano is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Cincinnati, OH who attends St Xavier. Young athletic build with tons of physical projection ahead. Two-way prospect with a high ceiling on both sides of the ball. Works from a fast paced delivery on the mound with a compact arm action and hit 3/4's arm slot, arm is fast and loose, repeats his delivery well due to his athleticism. Fastball works in the mid-80's and tops out at 87, has some heaviness down in the zone. Curveball is a swing/miss pitch with hard bite and very good depth. 6.69 runner in the sixty. Has athletic actions through the ball in the outfield, is easy and athletic, makes very accurate throws with on line carry. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a well timed coil load, smooth swing with nice extension through the ball and plenty of present bat speed, lots of natural lift, ball comes off the barrel hard. Going to keep getting better in all areas as he gets stronger, is very young for the 2025 class as well. Good student, verbal commitment to Kentucky.
