2022 High School All State Select Championship (2025-2026 Grads)
Carter Rutenbar is a 2025 C/RHP/UT with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Midlothian, TX who attends Midlothian Heritage. Medium frame with an athletic and physical build. Ran a 7.22 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, athletic behind the dish as a whole, handles arms well, big arm strength and efficient into his release, uses arm strength to advantage to patrol run game, real upside as a catcher. Versatile enough to play infield and outfield as well, profiles in a corner spot but moves well there, works hard through receiving and release, mid-80s arm strength from both spots, could stick at third base or a corner outfield spot. Left-handed hitter, upright and slightly open start, quick compact stroke with plenty of bat speed, torques hard and on time, works the pull side heavily and is accurate with the barrel. Lots of barrels in game action, comes off hot and handles well as a whole. Great student. Named to 2022 High School All State Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
