Payton Sanders is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Cunningham, TN who attends Montgomery Central. Posted a 7.26 in the 60. Primary RHP, Sanders showcased two elite pitches striking out 6 in a perfect outing. Physical with fluid actions and long levers projecting highly with his low stress release. Simple stretch delivery engages strong lower half and long 3/4 arm action getting loose extension downhill and lively jump getting on hitters in hurry. His fastball topped out at 92 with life and late run at times showing command on both sides. Tunnels the advanced slider very well up to 78 and maintaining clean release.
