2023 WWBA Workout Showcase (Wed)
Caleb Barnett is a 2025 3B/RHP with a 6-5 210 lb. frame from Mountain Brook, AL who attends Mountain Brook. Big frame with good muscularity and still room to add over time. Solid athletic actions, especially for a prospect his size. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.37 seconds. Primary position 3B, showing some hop to his step and quickness on the clay. Showed lateral range and handled the leather nicely. Deeper midline transfer to full arm path and higher release angle. Arm strength is elite and built throws up to 91 mph across the diamond that were on the money. RHH working from an even start and tight hands as he turns his front side in to load pre-pitch. Stays connected throughout and high level barrel awareness is evident. Explosive turn in the core builds special bat speed and allowed him to pull the ball with authority. Really knows how to get to the barrel and left the yard multiple times with ease in batting practice round. Tremendous student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
