Aaron Babaev is a 2024 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Glen Head, NY who attends The Stony Brook. Long and lean athletic build with good present strength and room for plenty more. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow base with a big leg raise load, turns his hips well once he gets his foot down, pretty short hand path with good extension through contact, has some barrel whip with more to come as he gets stronger. 7.13 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has athletic actions through the ball, good transition into throwing, makes accurate one hop throws with good carry, arm works well. Also pitched, young mechanics with a high leg raise and short stride out front, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, also threw a soft curveball. Interesting young athlete with lots of projection. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
