2022 High School All State Select Championship (2023-2024 Grads)
Davis Rivers is a 2023 C/1B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Waller, TX who attends Waller. Large frame with a very physical and athletic build. Ran a 7.19 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, high-end defender behind the dish, clean setup and moves into his release well, clean exchanges, short arm stroke and plenty of arm strength, produces consistently accurate throws, manages the game well and shows extremely well behind the dish in game action, has a chance to be an impact defender behind the dish. Left-handed hitter, clean base and active hands, big bat speed/power combo, works the barrel out with serious intent and able to leverage comfortably, explosive in turning the hips and produces huge exit velocities on a consistent basis, impressive finding the barrel in a big way in game action as well. Legitimate left-handed hitting power backstop with a chance to draw draft looks with a good spring. Great student. Committed to Texas Tech. Named to 2022 High School All State Top Prospect List.

Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
