Jack Ruckert is a 2025 SS/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Baton Rouge, LA who attends Catholic. Medium athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance, has a very smooth and effortless swing with lots of raw bat speed, short to the ball with good extension and separation through it, has barrel control and hits behind the ball, hard contact to all fields, lots of strength still to come, high ceiling offensive talent. 6.87 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, works low to the ground and gets his glove down early, changes slots well throwing, good fundamentals. Good student, verbal commitment to Louisiana State.
