2021 Summer Main Event Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Duke Stone is a 2024 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from Uvalda, GA who attends Jeff Davis. Long and lean young build, outstanding young pitcher's build. High leg lift delivery with a pause at the top, medium length arm circle with a high 3/4's arm slot, works downhill well, repeats delivery well for his age and size. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, powers the ball well to the bottom of the zone, lots more velocity there with physical maturity. Curveball showed good arm speed and spin with 11/5 shape, also threw a change up. High ceiling young arm. 7.44 runner in the sixty. Worked out in both the infield and outfield at the showcase and showed his arm strength well. Right handed hitter, has a short swing for his length with a contact oriented approach, works gap to gap with a line drive swing plane. Excellent student. Named to the Summer Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
