Tyler Albanese is a 2023 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-6 240 lb. frame from Mentone, CA who attends Redlands East Valley. Extra-Large frame with a filled out build showing mature physical strength for the age. Ran a 7.25 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working into a short side step to a belt high lift. Drop and drive mechanics utilizing his size. Higher three-quarter slot release and when he gets over front side, creates real tough angles. Fastball up to 87 mph with life out of hand showing spin rates just above 2,000 rpm. Went to a slurvy breaking ball in the upper-60's that had spin rates as high as 1809 rpm. Rounded arsenal off with changeup in mid-70's as well. Secondary First Baseman, feel for the position present. Scoops it up out front and has feel for the footwork around the bag. Size plays here and is fundamentally sound as well. Right-Handed Hitter, open to start before working into a deep toe-tap to stride. Heavy barrel in a good way through the zone as he impacted with authority. Power to the pull-side and proved that with a homerun in games. Good Student. Named to National Uncommitted Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
