2023 Pittsburgh Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Luke Williams is a 2026 SS/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Murrysville, PA who attends Franklin Regional. Lean young athletic build. 6.85 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has quick and active feet and plenty of middle of the field athleticism, elite level arm strength with the ability to get on top of the ball and create carry, still developing his footwork and fundamentals but the tools are all there. Also worked out in the outfield with very similar actions and arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a subtle load to his back side, stays on time well and is short and quick to the ball, line drive contact with some back spin, hands driven swing that will continue to develop as he gets stronger. This will be a fun player to watch develop through high school. Very good student. Named to the Pittsburgh Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
