John Robicheaux is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Mountain Brook, AL who attends Mountain Brook. Recorded a 6.65 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder with a medium athletic frame with present strength. Showed clean actions in the outfield, working through the ball well. Used a full arm swing and kept throws on line with long hop accuracy. Good arm strength up to 87 mph from the outfield. Right-handed hitter and starts from a very wide base with even feet. Showed advanced bat speed and utiized a steep bat path. Hit the ball hard consistently during round. Solid power to pull side and the middle of the field. Secondary right-handed pitcher and used a drop and drive delivery. Full arm swing through the back and released from a 3/4 slot. Ran fastball up to 84 with minimal effort. Spun a solid curveball and missed a lot of bats during outing. Excellent athlete. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to Samford. Named to the 2023 Sunshine Gulf Coast Top Prospect List.
