2023 PG Underclass All-American Games
Mason Kinchen is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Grand Oaks. Medium height with a lean athletic frame and longer limbs for the height. A primary left-handed pitcher, compact operation and really good tempo. Working quickly and attacking early. Really low release height with hard horizontal movement on the fastball. The sweeper cross the fastball shape to create tough identification for the hitter. All stretch and clearly a tough look for hitters. Quick arm and upside as the body fills out given the overall athleticism. Lots of swing and miss coming as he learns to harness the stuff. Also turns over a changeup with conviction. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
