Ryley Chapman is a 2024 SS/C, UT with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Lake Howell. A taller and bigger frame with athleticism to the build. Ran a 6.96 60-yard dash, Primary shortstop who had a quicker release with strength showing. Backhand was good with arm strength to work across from deep in the hole. Had smooth footwork up the middle. Had a feel for the footwork, exchange, and release to put it all together. Throws were at 85 mph across the infield during his round of throws. A switch-hitter. A left-handed hitter who showed bat speed from the left side. Open feet with higher hands. Makes an inward move through contact with some carry off the barrel. Same setup as a right-handed hitter, showing the bat speed once again. Showed some more lift from the right-side. Good impacts overall and drove the ball up the middle to centerfield real well. Swung it well from both sides during his round of BP. Produced a 90 mph exit velocity. Also took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher with an athletic move down the mound. Had a rhythmic operation. Some hip coil at the top before making his move down the slope. Smooth arm stroke and a quick shoulder through release. The fastball was up to 84 mph with some life down in the zone. Pounded the zone and threw strikes with sound mechanics. Excellent student. Named to 2023 Sunshine East TP List. Verbally committed to Texas San Antonio.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
