Kevin Hammond is a 2023 C/3B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Keller, TX who attends Keller. Medium frame with slender, skinny build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.28 seconds. Hits from balanced and inline stance with quiet hands in load, flatter path with whole-field approach, rotational swing that can get slashy, showed ability to turn the barrel with authority in game. Worked out behind the plate, high set rising into reception, average transfer skills with lengthy arm stroke into throws, clocked up to 70 mph. Also saw some time on the mound, worked 74-77 mph with fastball and landed breaker for strikes, did a nice job challenging the zone. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
