Dakota Howard is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Van Alstyne, TX who attends Van Alstyne. Medium frame with a slightly physical and athletic build. Ran a 6.79 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, good athlete in a corner spot with clean routes and under control actions, works through the ball well and funnels it cleanly, arm strength plays well in the low-80s and carries him momentum through release to stay accurate with results. Left-handed hitter, even base and sets up upright, flatter path through the zone with smoothness and fluidity, hands-driven swing with a line drive approach, has some looseness in the wrists and can find the barrel at a healthy rate, projects to a good bit of power long-term.
