Brayden Leonard is a 2024 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Brookhaven, GA who attends East Cobb Baseball Academy. Lean build with plenty of room for projection for the future. Ran the sixty in 6.98 seconds. A primary shortstop, he showed impressive lateral agility and fluid actions overall. His hands proved to be soft when fielding to both sides of his body, his top throw across the infield was clocked at 80 MPH but the arm plays above that due to his quick release. At the plate he hits out of a narrow, open stance with a high back elbow setup. Utilized an all-fields approach and showed some feel for the barrel. Excellent student in the classroom as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
