2021 Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Austin Bowker is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Lone Tree, CO who attends Rock Canyon. Tall, projectable build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.94 seconds. Primary RHP who throws from an overhand slot and handles his frame well throughout the delivery. His FB sat 80-84 mph and had significant running action to go along with advanced feel for locating. His SL showed some late tilting action with occasional depth. In the outfield his throws in from the grass topped out at 80 mph and nearly all of his throws were on target and accurate. At the dish he hits out of an upright, balanced stance. His bat path has some natural loft to it and he flashed some pull side power during his round. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
