Steve Svenson is a 2024 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Matawan, NJ who attends Red Bank Catholic.Solid frame on the junior right hander, delivers out of a abbreviated windup with release out of a three-quarters slot. Fastball in the uppper 80's shows lots of arm side run with sink to it. Landed slider frequently for strikes with hogh spin and late horizontal bite. Efficent strike thrower with athletic movement down the plane. Flashed a firm change with run to it as well. Solid 3 pitch arsenal with room for growth as he matures. In the infield, shows really quality footwork for the size at hand. Glovework is proper with easy arm action to deliver accurate throws across the diamond.
