Christopher Gaudio is a 2022 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-5 205 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Notre Dame Preparatory. Ran a 7.19 60 yard dash. Large athletic frame on the mound and has a compact delivery. Low effort release and repeats the delivery well. Comes at hitters from a 3/4 slot with good whip of out of the hand. His fastball was up to 86 and has great command of the pitch with arm side run. Throws the slider with the same arm speed as the fastball and it has 11/5 shape with good late bite. His changeup is very effective and sat around 76. Has a hesitation move too to mess with hitters' timing. Good hands in the field and his arm plays well there too. At the plate, big leg lift trigger and puts a lot of strength behind it. Good use of lower half. Solid bat speed here and shows nice barrel control. Put on an impressive display in BP using the whole field well posting an exit velocity of 96.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
