Nicholas Vega is a 2024 C/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Church Hill. Strong athletic build with room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a high back elbow load, has a loose and extended swing with some lift out front, works gap to gap and stays behind the barrel well, showed his power in games well, handles the barrel and has a knack for squaring it up, projects well as a hitter. 7.46 runner in the sixty. Arm strength is his best present tool, has carry on his throws when his footwork is on line, plenty athletic enough coming out of his crouch, will continue to improve defensively with repetitions and coaching. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
