Cooper Hinson is a 2024 OF/RHP/MIF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Valrico, FL who attends Bloomingdale. Ran a 7.09 second sixty. Primary outfielder with an athletic build. Attacks the baseball well int he outfield moving through it well with a clean funnel and quicker release. Ball comes out well with some carry from a shorter arm action making accurate throws. Worked in th stretch only on the mound with a leg lift other belt and a quicker online arm action. The fastball shows some cutting life at times living 77-81 mph and filling up the zone. The changeup showed some sinking life at 72 mph getting under the hands of right-handed hitters while the curevball landed with 11-5 shape in the upper 60's. Left-handed hitter, start slightly open in his stance getting back to even with a toe tap trigger. Moves aggressive toward the ball with the weight shift into contact. The bat path works on a good plane impacting the baseball hard on a line to the pull side with some strength at the point of contact. Excellent student. Named to the 2022 Sunshine Gulf Coast Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
