Peryn Bland is a 2024 SS/2B, MIF with a 6-1 167 lb. frame from Alabaster, AL who attends Thompson. A taller and lean frame with a projectable body. Ran a 7.14 60-yard dash. A primary shortstop who showed athletic actions in the field. Had a quick and short arm stroke, throwing downhill at 85 mph across. His glove made the picks, gathering out front, and was able to shuffle through throws towards his target. Kept throws on the bag and recorded outs. A right-handed hitter who had some whip to the barrel with strength showing. Starts with a lower back elbow and wider base. He was able to drift onto the front side, transferring his weight to produce line drives pull-side. Excellent student. Troy commit.
