Nick Diaz is a 2025 1B/3B, OF with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Parkland, FL who attends Marjory Stoneman Douglas. Tall lean, athletic build with wiry muscular strength and moves well in all aspects. Ran the 60 yard dash in a solid 6.88 seconds. Primary position IF, showing good footwork and first step quickness as he ranged to his left and right well. Easy actions and flow to his glove work with a smooth midline transfer to throw. Across the diamond up to 85 mph with good carry. Reps at 1B as well, showing feel for the spot and made good turns. This looks like a great spot for him. Covers ground and arm played well here too. RHH working from a more narrow, upright stance and using a hanging leg lift for his timing. Lower handset with functional length and some whip to the barrel. Timing was a bit inconsistent but when on time there was easy loft with emerging power. Best bolts were to the oppo gap when on plane, the ball got off the barrel in a hurry there. Tremendous all around projection and as he gains physicality all tools will be next level. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
