Kaden Galason is a 2022 SS/2B/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Kathleen, GA who attends Houston County. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, high waist,, additional room to grow and develop moving forward. Fast-twitch, ran a 6.45 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, hands play well out front at the ball and shows softness, clean skills to the backhand, very quick transfer and release with easy actions, quick first step, throws show on line carry and accuracy across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and open stance, higher hand set at start. Movement to hands in load, lets the ball travel and creates some whip with the barrel, generates bat speed through the zone and shows some leverage in path. Keeps hands inside the ball, creates some separates, ball jumps off the barrel on a line to the pull side, tools project with strength and refinement. Very good student. Verbal commitment to Belmont.
