Sebastian Lopez is a 2022 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Henderson, NV who attends Coronado. Medium frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.09 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, leg lift trigger, middle approach with clean barrel path highlighted by quality bat speed, gets over his front side at times, could use more stability in lower half, clean stroke with whippy hands and barrel, projectable offensive tools. Worked out in the infield, moves well, shows athleticism and balance through movements, light on feet, hands work well out front, clocked up to 83 mph on throws across. Excellent student, named to 2021 Sunshine Southwest Top Prospect List.
