Micah Wells is a 2024 RHP/2B/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Philadelphia, PA who attends Germantown Academy. Wells, who works out of a lean athletic build, was electric from his primary spot on the bump flashing an easy effortless arm action that saw the fastball get up to 89 mph. The righty used compact mechanics and a 3/4 slot to pound both sides of the plate, sequencing a funky 11-5 slurve with late bite. Wells could project into the 90's sooner rather than later. From the IF, he showcased solid range to the glove side with more life in the arm up to 86 mph. Offensively, Wells started from a wider stance with intent to create lift and drive the ball to the middle of the field. He has juice in the barrel when on time, posting an exit velocity of 84 mph. Ran a 7.41 sixty yard dash. Named to Mid-Atlantic Indoor Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
