Juan Araujo is a 2026 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Sunshine State Elite Academy. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 6.99 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, quick feet and shows twitch in actions, fields it out front with soft hands and shows solid glove skill at the ball, repeats actions and shows carry on throws across the diamond. Attacks the ball well in the outfield, quick release, utilizes a compact crow hop moving into release, stays short with arm action and shows accuracy on throws, strength will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, begins with a narrow stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Stays short to the baseball and shows quickness to hands, stays simple with mechanics, limited shift through lower half. Best contact when working on a line, shows comfort working to pull side but can go the other way as well.
