2023 Class of 2026 All-American Games
Gavin Hottle is a 2026 SS/3B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Irvine, CA who attends Orange Lutheran. Big and strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, loads his hands tight and still, open lower half to start, fires his hands hard and creates lots of raw bat speed, sudden swing that creates real jump when he's timed up, can get late at times firing and not get thru the ball. Primary shortstop on defense, looks like a future third baseman, has very good arm strength and gets on top of his throws well, solid glove work. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas Christian. Named to the Class of 2026 All-American Games Top Prospect List.
