Jason Amalbert is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from East Hanover, NJ who attends Depaul Catholic. Amalbert impressed at multiple spots over the course of the weekend, using a medium projectable build with clear athleticism present. From his primary IF position, he showcased clean backhands and glove work with carry across the diamond up to 80 mph. The actions for Amalbert were smooth and fluid, flashing range with the ability to change slots up the middle. On the mound, the live arm translated where Amalbert ultimately touched 85 mph from a simple repeatable delivery and compact arm stroke. He sequenced an 11-5 shaped curve with both vertical and horizontal plane present as well as a change piece with fade and depth to it. Offensively, the righty started from an even quiet stance with solid extension to work the pull side of the field. He generated impact when on time, posting an exit velo of 86 mph. Ran a 7.18 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
