Brett Matson is a 2022 2B/SS/OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Liberty. Lean athletic build with some present strength and plenty of room for more. Switch hitter at the plate, showed best from the left side with lots of raw bat speed, torques his hips hard, creates back spin and carry when he turns on the ball, more of a middle of the field line drive hitter from the right side, still swings hard and creates bat speed from that side with less power. 7.16 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has quick hands and gets ride of the ball quickly with good carry on his throws, solid lower half athleticism. Also plays the outfield with similar tools. Named to the Sunshine West Showcase Top Prospect List.
