Braylon Nelson is a 2026 SS/RHP, MIF, UT with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Daphne, AL who attends Ums-Wright Preparatory. Big and physical frame with some athleticism. Ran a 7.38 60-yard dash. Corner infield actions, gets the glove out front, consistent mechanics with impressive body control for the age/size. Makes strong above average throws across the diamond. Right handed hitter that has an open stance with tight turns and controlled weight shift into the baseball. Real strength and bat speed in the swing. Drives the baseball with backspin to all fields. Has leverage and really controlled the barrel well. Two pitches out of a three-quarter arm slot on the mound. Fastball up to 84 that he hides well and gets good extension with. Developing breaking ball spin with present ability to throw the pitch for strikes. High level two-way prospect with tons of projection in his frame. Named to event Top Prospect List. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
