2023 Northeast Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Sergio Droz is a 2024 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Millville, NJ who attends Millville. Slender young middle infielder's build with plenty of room to fill in and get stronger. 5.04 runner in the forty. Has quick and clean actions in the middle infield on defense, moves well with active feet and plenty of range, fields the ball out front and comes and gets it well, quick exchange and arm stroke but still gets nice carry on his throws, solid in all regards and projects well defensively. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly closed stance with a small leg raise trigger, simple and calm high contact swing approach, line drive swing plane, has some quickness to his hands and gets the barrel out well, repeats his mechanics and timing with some feel for the barrel. Did not pitch at this event but has been up to 88 mph on the mound at PG events before. Good student. Named to the Northeast Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
