Joseph Mennella is a 2023 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends St. Peter's Boys. Mennella worked exclusively from his primary 1B spot, using the strong broad build to field out in front and ultimately top out at 80 mph across the diamond. He displayed quickness to the turns with consistent accurate throws on the bag. At the plate, the righty flashed strength in the hands with clear whip to the barrel from a narrow open stance. He generated loud impact when timed up with further room to refine the barrel control and become even more dangerous offensively. Posted an exit velo of 91 mph. Ran a 7.67 sixty yard dash. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
