John Paul Head is a 2024 C/3B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Vestavia Hills, AL who attends Vestavia Hills. Recorded a 7.24 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a strong frame. Begins from a higher set behind the dish with staggered feet. Employs a short arm action through the back while throwing on line, recording a best pop time of 2.02. Secondary third baseman and worked to the ball methodically. Utilized a high slot and showed the ability to lower it up the middle and throw accurately. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with a high back elbow and hands. Worked to pull the ball and did so with authority when on time. Swing is short to the ball and swung with intent. The hand speed and strength stands out, allowing for plenty power potential. Tremendous student.
